By combining pre-operative imaging with patient-specific computational modeling and simulation, we can accurately predict how a specific transcatheter structural heart device will interact with a patient’s anatomy, thereby offering unique additional insights during procedure planning. Our new CE-marked FEops HEARTguideTM solution is the only technology in its kind, that allow interventional cardiologists to pre-operatively evaluate the impact of implant size and position for transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedures. The same technology is also used to help device manufacturers during the total product lifecycle. For example, virtual patients or digital twins can be used to test new device prototypes in a clinically relevant context.
